Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers is her mother. Her father Arthur Goulding comes from a funeral family that is a home. Goulding is born around 2000. Her sisters are, Isabel and Jordan. The brother of her is Alex. Alex his younger brother is his Bass. Alex also is part of a Hereford-based band. As a girl, her mother urged her to take up the instrument. The clarinet was her first instrument at the age of nine. At the age of 14, she started writing songs. She didn't really start pursuing songwriting in the college years. Goulding was intrigued by electronic and dance music as she studied. Through MySpace she got in touch with record producer Frankmusik and with his help she came up with her own version of folktronica. Jamie Lillywhite noticed her and was her manager. In the following years, he was asked to take charge as A.&R during a talent show. Lillywhite recommended her to Starsmith the music production company that was integral to her November 15th 2009 debut single, Under the Sheets. Starsmith later collaborated on Lights. Crawford first worked for the small agency of modeling which was later sold by Elite Model Management. Crawford made it to the finals of Elite's Look of the Year Contest in 1983.
